2006 Open Forum

Higher Education and NHS Library & Information Services: Pathways for Collaboration and Innovation

Woburn House, Tavistock Square, London, Thursday 30 March 2006

The UHMLG Open Forum is an annual event that brings together health care librarians and information professionals from the NHS, Higher Education and related sectors to discuss topics of mutual interest and to share experiences and examples of effective collaboration and best practice.

This year's Open Forum highlights practical examples of collaboration in service delivery in a number of key areas including: utilising learning space and infrastructure; walk-in access to electronic resources; placement students - ensuring consistent and high quality service delivery and exploring the issues and complexities involved in the cross sectoral procurement of e-resources.
